Description |
Identifies jobs featuring Hashed Files that are either read from or written to, but not both |
Issue
If a Hashed File is not both read from and written to within the one DataStage job, that file must be a shared resource.
Where Hashed Files are shared between jobs (or indeed different projects), their usage cannot be fully assessed by automated Server to Parallel analysis tools.
This potentially make them unsuitable for conversion to a dataset, as Hashed Files support behaviours and usage patterns that datasets cannot replicate.
